The Light Project offer various types of training:

  • Parish Missioner Network

This is a network in the Cheshire area for lay people wanting to promote mission and evangelism in their local church.

  • Pub Chaplaincy Course

You can join Chris Duffett and the Light Project Peterborough team in an interactive training day on how to set up a Pub Chaplaincy in your local area:

  • Learn how to be creative in faith sharing.
  • Explore resources to help you share the story of Jesus.
  • Learn about the ethos and ‘heart’ of chaplaincy.
  • Join a growing network of Christians who are adopting their local pub to love and serve the staff and customers.
  • Manageable Mission

A weekend or day course for churches or leadership groups looking to explore what mission and evangelism might look like in their context.

The Light Project bring a small team and through workshops and discussion idea sourcing, they help the group think through and come up with manageable ways to let their community know about Jesus.

This course works beautifully with churches looking at their mission planning and strategy for growth as it gives them a great working way of understanding mission and setting realistic goals.

  • The Brighter Course

Brighter is a course for churches over 3 weeks or 6 hours, so nothing huge really…

It’s for Christians who wonder how they may shine for others to see and experience their faith. It involves looking at creative ways of connecting faith (lots of permission given for those who have gifts and abilities and wonder how to use them for the benefit of others…)

The course challenges the notion that evangelism is for experts who are extroverts and is very interactive working on discussion and investigation.

  • Known and Loved

A free course for small groups to prepare them to do something that will show others that they are known and loved by God.
